Participants will explore engine components and systems, proper tool use, maintenance procedures, diagnostics, and common repair techniques.

The course includes preparation for the Equipment & Engine Training Council (EETC) 2-Stroke Engine Certification, giving students the opportunity to earn an industry-recognized credential.  Ideal for individuals interested in outdoor power equipment, small engine repair, equipment maintenance, or developing skills for employment in the industry. The cost of the exam is paid directly to the EETC and is separate from the Mayland tuition and fees.
