Participants will draw and paint a barn quilt (using a sponge dabbing technique that provides smooth and brilliant results) on a light and durable 2x2 foot aluminum composite board. Participants may choose a barn quilt design and colors from a wide selection of popular options provided by the instructor, or they may create their own design with
assistance from the instructor. Workshop Day 1 includes preparing the work surface, drawing the grid pattern and barn quilt design on the board, then starting the taping and painting process. Workshop Day 2 allows ample open studio time to finish taping and painting. All materials for a 2x2 barn quilt are included in the course fee.
