Occasionally employers post part-time job openings for students, as well as some full-time jobs. These job openings are posted on a web page in Moodle titled “Job Openings for Students”. Only enrolled students with a Moodle account can access these job postings. Jobs are also posted on the MCC Job Openings Bulletin Board outside the Student Commons in the Gwaltney Building. Job openings posted through NCWorks can be found at www.ncworks.gov.
Students can get individualized job placement help conveniently by visiting our NCWorks Career Center. Located on our main campus. They can help you upload a resume to NCWorks, refer you to jobs, and even set up an automated job search via e-mail or text.
Employers wishing to post jobs for students should contact Doug Dewar at ddewar@mayland.edu. Please send an email with details of the job and how to apply. Employers can also contact our on-campus NCWorks Career Center to reach applicants in the community as well.
