Students successfully completing this class have gone on to become self-employed Small Engine Mechanics and/or learned to perform maintenance on their own equipment.
Employment outlook is often self-employment to include making onsite calls or within the student’s own shop. Busiest times appear to be spring and summer, but early fall in the high country proves to be busy as well with the Christmas tree industry. Average median income is $37,000.00 per year.
