Have bulbs and hostas that need separating or did you start one too many cucumber seedlings? Are you looking for the perfect shrub to fill a bare spot by your porch? The Mayland Community College Foundation will host a Plant Swap on April 28 from 10 am-2 pm in the main parking lot on the Mitchell Campus in Spruce Pine.
Free Heirloom Tomato seedlings will be given away while supplies last. Bring plants to trade with others in a designated plant swap area at the campus. All legal varieties of plants are acceptable for swapping. You may also purchase plants grown in MCC’s greenhouses and from local nurseries, like Maples N’ More Nursery from Burnsville.
Free hot dogs/ drinks will be available on a first come, first serve basis beginning at 11 a.m.
