Regular full-time employees earn sick leave at a rate of one day per contract month. Sick leave is cumulative indefinitely and may be credited toward retirement service.
Employees are entitled to leave with pay to serve on a jury or if summoned to serve as a witness for the court.
Full-time employees receive 8 hours pay for each holidays and annual part-time employees receive a pro-rata amount based on the number of hours contracted for each week.
The College observes the following holidays per year:
- New Year’s Day
- Martin Luther King, Jr.’s birthday
- Good Friday (1 day)
- Memorial Day (1 day)
- Independence Day (1 day)
- Labor Day
- Veterans Day
- Thanksgiving (2 days)
- Christmas (Number of days varies and typically coincides with State Personnel Policy. Additional days may be granted for college closures.
