The Children’s Discover Center will consist of two adjoining buildings that both feature hands-on STEM education for children (and adults) of all ages! Environmental Education Center

The Environmental Education building will house a variety of rotating exhibits and permanent exhibits all dealing with various aspects of Environmental and Earth Sciences. Exhibit ideas include:

  • Demonstration Bee Hive
  • Where Does Your Trash Go?
  • How does Composting Work?
  • Plant a Seed Station
  • Local River Systems and Waterways
  • Alternative Energy Sources

Altec's Styslinger Engineering Discovery Center

Thanks to a generous gift from Altec's Styslinger Foundation, the Applied Engineering and Robotics Discovery Center is under construction! The center will house a variety of interactive exhibits combining space exploration with mechatronics, robotics and virtual reality. Exhibit ideas include:

  • Scaled Remote Control Model of NASA’s Mars Rover
  • 3D printing
  • Virtual Reality
  • Robotic Arms
