Practical Nursing

Nationally recognized with proven results of student success!

Licensed practical nurses provide basic nursing care to patients, while working under the supervision of a registered nurse or doctor.

Many people choose Practical Nursing because the training can be completed in a shorter time than is required for an RN. The program can be completed in less than one year. That translates into less time and money spent in school.

Keep in mind that after your training, you will still have to pass a licensing exam in North Carolina before you can practice.

Once you become and LPN there are many employment options to choose from. Nursing homes, long-term care facilities, hospice care, rehab clinics, group homes, outpatient centers, medical offices, and hospitals all hire LPNs.
