New! Accelerated path to an Associate Degree in Nursing for currently certified Paramedics.
This program allows experienced Paramedics to earn an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) in two semesters after completing the NUR 215 course. The personalized progression pathway allows Paramedics to earn an (ADN) with minimal repetition of the skills and knowledge they have already learned. Applicants must be a current Paramedic.
The Paramedic to ADN Bridge program prepares students for the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN).
Class meetings and clinicals:
Practical Nursing - Meets twice each week, online coursework, and weekend clinicals.
LPN to ADN - Meets once each week, online coursework, and weekend clinicals.
Paramedic to ADN - Meets once each week, online coursework, and weekend clinicals.
Applicants will be given specific meeting days and times and clinical schedule at program orientation. Orientation is scheduled near the end of the semester prior to beginning the program.
