Woodworking: Furniture Building (96 Hours)

This hands-on course will lead you through the fundamentals of traditional furniture building as an art and provide experience in fine woodworking.  Benefit from the skills and experience of a professional cabinet maker and carpenter.  Students will receive a mix of classroom and hands-on experience to create a central project.  Joinery, machining, fittings and assembly are just a few of the areas of instruction, with a discussion of wood types and safe practices to be included. At the end of this 96 hour course, the student will have been provided with the instruction and skills needed to begin woodworking on their own, whether for work or pleasure.
