Upon course completion students will be prepared to ensure safe practices on the work site, read blueprints, solve construction math problems, work with electrical circuits, apply electrical theory, be familiar with the National Electrical Code, and well as work with residential electrical services. This curriculum is recognized by the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) and is level 1 of four levels.
Employment opportunities include construction businesses and maintenance positions. With additional training, students could enter self-employment.
