Gain on-the-job experience through this hands-on learning experience with an internship within a long-term care community, assisted living community, hospital, school, or correctional facility. The field experience will be supervised by a Registered Dietitian. Hours will vary.
Note: This program is in the approval process from the Association of Nutrition and Foodservice Professionals (ANFP). Upon program approval, students will be eligible for ANFP pre-professional membership. After successful completion of both components of the program, students will be eligible to sit for the CDM credentialing exam and will be eligible for ANFP professional membership. Students with 2 years+ demonstrated work experience in non-commercial foodservice management may be exempt from Part 2.
