David & Yvonne Evans:
Available to Avery, Mitchell, and Yancey County residents. Continuing Education students may receive up to a $ 180 reimbursement on cost of registration, plus assistance with other costs when appropriate. Application is available online at www.surveymonkey.com/r/dyevansapp
Golden LEAF Foundation:
Available to Continuing Education occupational education students. Continuing ediucation students may receive up to a $250 reimbursement. Gene Haas Foundation:
Available to Avery, Mitchell, and Yancey county residents enrolled in Applied Engineering or a related certification course. Students may receive varying amounts of scholarship funds to help them complete their studies. The funds must be used to cover the cost of tuition, fees, or books. State Employee’s Credit Union:
North Carolina residents may receive reimbursement of expenses upon successful completion of certain courses leading to credentials.
