This fully online course prepares students to take the FAA Part 107 exam, which is required for all commercial drone (UAV) operators in the United States.  This course covers essential topics such as FAA regulations, airspace classifications, operating requirements, flight restrictions, aviation weather, weight and balance, emergency procedures, crew resource management, radio communication, physiological factors, aeronautical decision-making and preflight inspections.

The course is delivered in a self-paced format with weekly assignments, video lessons and practice quizzes.  Students will also participate in a one-hour live video group lesson each week, choosing from morning or evening options.  These sessions are led by the instructor and provide time for review, guided study and Q & A.

Instructors will assist students with the FAA registration process and ensure they are well-prepared to take the Part 107 exam.

Note:  The FAA exam fee of $175 (subject to change) is not included in the course registration.
