The Paralegal Studies program prepares students who already possess an associate’s degree or a bachelor’s degree for a career as a Paralegal. The paralegal curriculum is divided into paralegal skills courses and law coursework. The North Carolina State Bar Board of Paralegal Certification has approved and designated Mayland Community College’s paralegal studies certificate program as a qualified paralegal studies program.

any college or university that is accredited by an accrediting body recognized by

Core topics include legal research and writing, criminal law ad procedure, civil litigation and injuries, real property, wills/estates, family and commercial law, and ethics attorneys.
