The Paralegal Studies program prepares students who already possess an associate’s degree or a bachelor’s degree for a career as a Paralegal. The paralegal curriculum is divided into paralegal skills courses and law coursework. The North Carolina State Bar Board of Paralegal Certification has approved and designated Mayland Community College’s paralegal studies certificate program as a qualified paralegal studies program.

• Real property
• Wills/estates
• Family and commercial law
• Ethics
Admission Requirements:
• Must possess an associate’s degree or
bachelor’s degree in any discipline from
any college or university that is accredited by an accrediting body recognized by
the US Department of Education

• Tuition/Registration: $180
