Do you dream of becoming a Sports Broadcaster? Are you a big fan of sports? Then join John Williams, a commentator for ESPN in this introductory class to learn more about this exciting field. Topics will include qualities of a successful broadcaster, roles explained including play by play, color commentary, sideline reporting, talk shows and more. John will also teach you how to build your career and how to stand out with demo tapes and resumes. There will be great opportunities available for students to gain experience and network during live broadcasts. A list of the particular, paid and unpaid, positions will be provided based on specific games being played. Many of these positions will include training. Some positions will be considered shadowing and will not be paid opportunities.
