This class is designed to build upon the traditional blacksmithing processes covered in Introduction to Blacksmithing I. Previously learned techniques will be briefly reviewed with a focus on their refinement. Most of the class time will introduce students to additional techniques and some of the fundamentals of traditional joinery. Among those, specifically riveting and collaring forged elements will be demonstrated and practiced. (Please note that while having some forging experience, e.g., taking Introduction to Blacksmithing I, is helpful, it is not a prerequisite. Beginners with no experience may register for this class.)
