This class consists of five weeks of training. It includes fifty-six hours of online training and more than 100 hours behind the wheel. The successful student will receive a commercial driver's license permit from the DMV. They will then have to pass a test to earn their full commercial driver's license.

Applicants must be 18 or older, have a Social Security card, and hold a valid NC driver's license. They must also pass a criminal background check and Department of Transportation physical/drug screening.
