Banner Elk Classes

Beginning in Spring 2019, the Mayland Enterprise Corporation will be offering enrichment classes in the Mayland classrooms at the Historic Banner Elk School in downtown Banner Elk. Directions to the Mayland Learning Center classrooms at the Historic Banner Elk School:

From Hwy 105: Turn onto Tynecastle Highway (Hwy 184) towards Sugar Mountain and Banner Elk. Go 4.1 miles and turn right at the first entrance into the Historic Banner Elk School (Azalea Circle), the stone building across the street from the Banner Elk Café. Stay straight and park along the right side of the School in the smaller back lot. The classroom is located in the annex building to the right of the courtyard.

From Hwy 19: Turn onto Hwy 194 toward Beech Mountain and Banner Elk. Go 7 miles into downtown Banner Elk, past Lees-McRae College. Turn right at the stoplight onto Shawneehaw Ave. Turn left into the 2nd entrance into the Historic Banner Elk School, the stone building across the street from the Banner Elk Café. Stay straight and park along the right side of the School in the smaller back lot. The classroom is located in the annex building to the right of the courtyard.
