Adult High School

The Adult High School (AHS) Program is intended to assist adults in earning the remaining credits they need to receive a high school diploma. Students may attend any of the program’s Learning Lab centers across the Tri-County area to enroll in classes and work toward earning an official North Carolina High School Diploma–all free of charge.

Classes provide customized, one-on-one instruction and support to allow students to progress through credits at their own pace. Current North Carolina graduation requirements determine the courses needed to earn the diploma, but prior high school credits can be transferred in for credit. These classes are available to adults age 18 and above or for students as young as 16 with notarized documentation from parents and public/private/home school officials. Some courses are also available through our Fast Track Online Class.
