MCC is concerned with the safety and well-being of its students, faculty, staff, and visitors, and is committed to providing a safe and secure campus community. MCC prohibits discrimination, harassment, and sexual misconduct and encourages anyone who is affected by these offenses on campus to report the incident in a timely manner.
Any non-student College employee informed of a gender-based or sexual misconduct incident involving students and/or other College employees is expected to inform the Title IX Coordinator immediately.
The College’s response to sexual violence, sexual harassment, domestic violence, intimate partner violence, dating violence and stalking is governed by Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (otherwise known as the “Clery Act”) which was enacted in 1990, and Section 304 of the 2013 Amendments to the Violence Against Women Act.
