Mayland Community College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award associate degrees. - The Cosmetology program is approved by the North Carolina State Board of Cosmetic Arts.
- All degree, diploma, and certificate programs are approved by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

- Emergency Medical Technician programs are approved by the NC Office of Emergency Services.
- The Therapeutic Massage program is approved by the NC Board of Massage and Bodywork Therapy.
- The Electronic Health Records Specialist program is approved by the National Healthcareer Association.
- General Contractor License Renewal is approved by the North Carolina Licensing Board for General Contractors.
- Certified Production Technician is approved through the Manufacturing Skills Standards Council.
- Nutritional Dietary Managers program is an Association of Nutrition and Foodservice Professionals approved program.
- The North Carolina State Bar Board of Paralegal Certification has approved and designated Mayland Community
- College’s paralegal studies program as a qualified paralegal studies program.
- Real Estate Prelicensing is approved by the NC Real Estate Board.
- The Pharmacy Technician program is approved by the PTCB (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board).
