Join your wilderness host, Dr. Christopher Blake, on an exciting week-long adventure into the Linville Gorge. Topics covered will include safety, gear, GPS, and hydrations. Take part in a mushroom foray, hike the Marion Wright Trail, visit Hawksbill, and much more. Orientation will take place at the Avery Learning Center on (intentionally left blank), while all other activities will be outdoors. Please note that adventures will be over rugged outdoor terrain. The time given for hikes is an estimation and could take longer depending on the speed of the group. Also, cell phone service will be limited in many locations.
