Research & Planning


What is Research and Planning?  The Research and Planning Office facilitates College-wide institutional research and institutional effectiveness efforts by:
    - Collecting, organizing, and reporting information about the College’s programs and services;
    - Coordinating College-wide planning and evaluation activities;
    - Coordinating and documenting institutional-level evaluations of programs and services;
    - Providing information and reports, as requested, to agencies and offices external to the College, such as the North Carolina Community        
      College System.
 

What information is available on the Research and Planning Website?

- Facts and Figures contains statistical information related to Mayland; Avery, Mitchell and Yancey counties;  the North Carolina Community College System (NCCCS) and the United States

- In College Planning you can find information about the College’s strategic planning efforts as well as NCCCS links.

- The Assessment section contains a variety of results of the College’s Institutional Effectiveness efforts, as well as state data.
