Where are we
going, and how
do we get there? Those are the questions that the Institutional
Research and
Planning Department of Student Services attempts to answer. In
addition, this
division also houses the Coordinator of Marketing, Webmaster, Public
Information Officer and Video Productions for MCC.

doing by providing leadership in the planning process for the college
and
providing the various college constituencies with the data they need to
make
decisions for their departments, divisions, or the college as a whole.

Public Information
Officer:
As a liaison for the college I work directly with all print media outlets within our tri-county service area to inform our students and community of programs, services, and events available through MCC. I also produce print publications for the institution to illustrate every aspect of the college. As a member of the Marketing and Media team I represent Mayland Community College as a vital part of the Community, I provide information and support to community organizations and events. Purpose
Statement: Promote
Mayland Community College and make it a common name in the community it
serves;
through print, video, and public awareness by being involved in
community
activities.
Webmaster/Coordinator
of Marketing:
As a member of the
Marketing and Media division the
webmaster is responsible for the development and proper execution of
online
strategies for Mayland Community College’s internet presence. Our
website
houses information about Curriculum Programs, Continuing Education
Opportunities,
Upcoming Events at MCC, and Resources for the school. In addition, the
webmaster
is also responsible for video productions services at the college and
marketing/advertising activities for the college classes and
activities. This
area also works with agencies affiliated with Mayland Community College
such as
the Energy X-Change to produce marketing pieces that showcase the
Institution’s
