The Alpha Pi Kappa Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, International Honor Society of the Two-Year College emphasizes four hallmarks: Scholarship, Leadership, Service and Fellowship.
At MCC, members are required to have a cumulative grade point average of 3.25, be enrolled in an Associate Degree program and to have a minimum of 12 semester hours completed at MCC in courses above the 100 level. New members are inducted during the fall and spring semesters.
MCC's Phi Theta Kappa chapter has just recently been re-established and had it's latest induction on December 3, 2003. During the Spring 2004 Semester, the Chapter plans to elect officers and begin holding fundraisers for graduation stoles.
