Transfer Programs at
Mayland Community College

MCC Spring FlingTransfer programs are designed for Mayland's students 1) who plan to transfer to four-year institutions to continue their formal education for baccalaureate degrees or 2) who wish to earn associates degrees in curriculum majors not awarded at Mayland Community College, but through articulation agreements with other two-year colleges they can complete a significant number of credit hours at Mayland. Students interested in any transfer program listed in this section should discuss transferring to the other institutions with representatives of those institutions early in their studies at Mayland Community College. Furthermore, transfer students will work with their academic advisors at Mayland to plan their programs of study to meet the requirements of the colleges to which they plan to transfer. Entrance requirements for transfer students vary among two-year and senior institutions. The transfer of credits is a privilege granted by the institutions to which the students plan to transfer, and all applicants and requests for transfer credits are evaluated individually. All students must complete courses at Mayland Community College with grades acceptable to the institutions to which they plan to transfer.
