Partnership Agreements
Partnership, or "Articulation," Agreements between Mayland and 4-year institutions allow students to complete their specified programs at Mayland to transfer to other institutions without significant loss of credit. The overall transfer process is simplified and more predictable; the academic needs and interests of students are emphasized; and overall status of the students is strengthened since they enter their next institutions as juniors.
The intent of Partnership/Articulation Agreements is for students to complete their associate degrees under the terms of the agreement prior to their transfer. Community college credit indicated in the articulated programs will be accepted in transfer programs without evaluation on a course-by-course basis. Students are strongly encouraged to discuss their transfer interests with their Mayland advisors and with representatives of the intended institutions of transfer. Following are the Partnership Agreements Mayland Community College has to benefit students interested in these selected majors and/or institutions.
