PLEASE NOTE: the cost for the conference includes a $2 service charge to cover PayPal fees. If you select this method of payment, you must still complete a registration form which can be printed here and mailed to the Foundation. Just indicate on the form that you have already paid with PayPal. Paying in advance with PayPal secures your spot in the Conference even before we have received your registration form!
WHAT IT'S ALL ABOUT
The Mayland Community College Foundation invites women to experience an extraordinary day at Empower U: A Conference by Women for Women, on Saturday, September 25, 2010, in the Sam Center at Mayland Community College. More than ever, women need a place to have open and honest, down-to-earth conversations about the things that matter most: money and the economy, safety, self-esteem, health and wellness and how to succeed in life.
Empower U offers women from all walks of life the opportunity to join with other women in a day of empowerment and rejuvenation as we celebrate our crazy, passionate, wonderful and beautiful lives.
WHAT THE CONFERENCE OFFERS
The conference format has been designed specifically to offer choices on a wide range of topics, all designed to empower and inspire. The day’s activities will include a prominent keynote speaker, followed by lunch and a fashion show by A Touch of Class. In addition, attendees may choose to attend breakout sessions covering a variety of topics important to women. The closing session will wrap up the day with remarks and door prizes. Between sessions and throughout the day, attendees can visit with vendors and exhibitors, all of whom are women who own or operate the businesses and non-profits they represent.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Employers, send your staff for a day at Empower U as the perfect way to celebrate a job well done!. Daughters, why not treat your mother with a day at Empower U? Registration is limited to the first 110 attendees, so invite your mother, sisters, neighbors, co-workers and church groups to attend, or send someone special as a gift! ALL WOMEN ARE INVITED!

A very limited number of vendor spots are still available for our premiere conference. If you are a woman who owns and/or operates her own business or a local non-profit and want exposure to local women, contact Martha Huskins or Laura Laughridge for mor information about vendor opportunities.
