Quickbooks 2008 NEW

Learn how this well-designed course can make it a snap to set up a chart of accounts, reconcile your checking account, create and print invoices, receipts, and statements, track your payables, inventory, and receivables, create estimates, and generate reports. Students will receive an information packet guiding them step-by-step on some of the most common Quickbooks 2008 accounting procedures. Basic computer knowledge is recommended.

Watercolor

Learn secrets used for beautiful watercolor painting. Weather permitting, students will paint peine aire (on location). Beginners are welcome! Pencil, pastel, acrylic and oil students are encouraged to join too!

Powderpuff Mechanics (NEW!)

This class is especially designed for ladies who want to learn the basics to keeping their cars in good running condition. During this class ASE certified technican Barrett Haben will guide you through all the aspects of a "tune up"show you how to change, and check the air pressure in your tires, check the brakes, fluids, change an air filter, discuss changing headlight bulbs and much more! CPR & First Aid

This course is designed to teach basic first-aid principles, procedures for minor to major injuries and adult CPR. Common emergencies, such as respiratory, bleeding, fractures, poisonings, burns and the proper methods of treatment will be covered. Pre-registration and pre-payment are required.

Sign Language for Law Enforcement Officers(NEW!)

This interactive 16 hour course is customized for Law Enforcement Officers and will provide training in basic sign language and deaf culture. Course topics will be directly related to everyday law enforcement situations, dialog, dispute resolution, and common commands.

Wheel Throwing

Clay Classes Perfectly Imperfect!
Instructor Tracy Dotson will incorporate the Japanese concept of Wabi Sabi in to this relaxed clay production class. Students will have the opportunity to create vases, bottles, teapots, candlesticks, and functional ware reflecting the Japanese influence. Beginners are welcome! Additional fees to be paid to ArtsCentered on the first day of class: Propane fee $15, material lab fee $35, & tool kit $17.50 (or bring your own).

Perfectly Imperfect!
Students will experience wheel throwing, handbuilding, and just have fun while incorporating the Japanese concept of Wabi Sabi into their personal clay creations. Beginners are welcome!
