
Mayland Community College's Workforce Development Programs provide training, education and employment programs funded through both the federally funded Workforce Investment Act and North Carolina Employment and Training Programs to adult and dislocated workers.
The Get REAL (Resources Employment Advancement Learning) System of Services offers resources for youth up through the age of 21 to help plan a career, get job experience, get advice on how to climb the career ladder and learn job training and searching skills.
The Get REAL and WIA programs are administered through the JobLink Career Centers in Avery, Mitchell, and Yancey Counties.
