E-Commerce is an important part of the nation’s economy. It is now possible for a business to reach out globally to solicit customers and increase sales using computer technology. The E-Commerce Program will consist of short, one to two evening seminars with new classes each semester.

SELLING ON E-BAY I
An introductory class about selling products on e-Bay. Topics include the history of online auctions and types of merchandise you can sell. We will show you the bidding process, how to pay for a purchase, and much more. The class will have demonstrations and handouts.

RUNNING A BUSINESS ON E-BAY
This is an advanced class for the person who has experience selling on e-Bay and wants to open an e-Bay store. We will cover essential policies for handling merchandise transactions, processing returns, shipping merchandise, and effective customer service practices. There will be a book available for purchase by students. Prior e-Bay sales experience is a prerequisite.
