This Website is dedicated to the memory of the Civilian Conservation Corps in North Carolina. We are in the process of developing an online repository of information about CCC camps and participants in the Tar Heel state.

CCC Featured in National History Day

The 2007 National History Day competition in North Carolina featured a video about the Civilian Conservation Corps that won the state competition in the Junior division for Individual Documentary. Corey Biddix, a student at Harris Middle School in Spruce Pine, NC, advanced to the national competition in College Park, Maryland with the entry. Here's his video:

Organizational Meeting Held

The first meeting of Chapter 175 was held October 7, 2001 in Linville, NC. You can get more information about the meeting here.
