PLEASE NOTE: The General Occupational Technology Diploma - Physical Therapy Assistant Program is offered in conjunction with Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute of Hudson, N.C. through a Memorandum of Understanding.

Students complete the first year of the program at MCC, then transfer to Caldwell to complete the Associate Degree - Physical Therapy Assistant Program.

Students must meet the admission criteria of the Physical Therapy Assistant program at Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute prior to enrollment at CCC&TI.

Curriculum Description:

The General Occupational Technology curriculum provides individuals with an opportunity to upgrade their skills and to earn an associate degree by taking courses suited for their occupational interests and/or needs.

The curriculum content will be individualized for students according to their occupational interests and needs. A program of study for each student will be selected from associate degree level courses offered by the College.

Graduates will become more effective workers, be better qualified for advancements within their fields of employment or become qualified for a wide range of entry level employment opportunities.
