Basic Skills/GED is MORE than high school equivalency! We also provide free services in Compensatory Education, college preparation, career readiness, Adult Basic Education, and English as a Second Language. Students will have opportunities to improve reading, writing, mathematics, and communication skills.

Mayland Learning Lab’s TABE services benefit BLET Grad

Mayland’s BLET (Basic Law Enforcement Training) and EMT (Emergency Management Training) students are all required to complete the Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE) which is administered FREE of charge in Mayland’s Learning Lab during regular class hours, Monday through Friday.
