The Mayland Community College Basic Skills Program offers free Compensatory Education classes designed for developmentally disabled adults who are functioning at levels generally described as mentally challenged.
These classes offer a uniquely-designed educational program intended to help students develop the following skills:
- Social interaction skills
- Basic academic skills
- Work skills
- Independent living skills
Compensatory Education Class Locations
Compensatory Education classes are offered in each of the three counties Mayland serves.
