Career Pathways

The Career Pathways program is designed to help students who are working to earn a high school equivalency to also gain an entry-level certificate in an in-demand career field - Tuition Free!

Students who enroll in one of Mayland's Career Pathways programs can earn the high school equivalency and the Career Readiness Certificate (CRC), receive training in resume writing and interviewing skills, and complete a certificate in such programs as Nurse Aide or Welding without having to pay tuition.

Pathways are being developed now and will begin in late 2013 and early 2014. For more information, contact Fran Herrell, Career Pathways Specialist, at 828-766-1296, or e-mail us here.
